RGR Race Day on 11/13 and Play Day - 11/20.
The club has been super busy as of late. We now have a DVD available for perspective new boaters and anyone interested in the hobby. Talk to any club member at any of our events to receive one of these DVD's free of charge.

Jay Stone, Henry Keller and Annmarie Keller visit the SNM Speedway!

The Lucas Oil Series ASCS 360 Sprint Cars rolled into town and club members handed out flyers for our Race on 11/13 and also nearly 100 of the new DVD's. We spoke to many interested people and we seemed to be very well received. We had a few people we visited with at the Races join us the very next day for our Club race. We are hoping they will join us again!

The Race ended up having to be called off because we had some difficulty getting our equipment down to the lake on time. Those issues have since been resolved and we will resume with our Club Races on December 11, 2011. Special thanks to Annette Granado and Royal Jones for allowing us to setup a display and giving our club the oppurtunity to promote the hobby. We had a great amount of spectators stick around and watch as we ran a couple of mock heat races and had a great day of test and tune.

Photographer Manny Madole of El Paso, Texas joined us and took some awesome photos:

On Sunday, November 20th - Dale Roberts drove down from Albuquerque, New Mexico to join us for some testing and Tuning. Dale tested his Insane Mono and Cat. We had a good day of testing that saw Gary Gould lose the prop off of his SKI BOAT that he was trying to run on his inline twin rigger! Gary's new Twin is showing great promise. Jay Stone also tested his new Insane G4 Mobster Sport Hydro. He had some setup issues that Dale Roberts helped him with and after finding out he had a carb problem he parked the boat for the day. JC Greenlee brought out his Insane Gen 2 sport hydro and had her running better than she has ever run before he spun a drive shaft. David Wale ran his stars and stripes boat and continually sees improved performace. Henry Keller ran his thunderboat, g1 cat and his g1 mono. All three boats ran really well. Joey Lapille ran his G3 Insane Sport Hydro and had her screamin'. We didn't get any pictures, but did manage to get a few videos. Manny Madole visited us again and caught the tail end of the test session. He took several pictures of Dale's cat running. Hopefully he'll get those posted soon. Here are the vidoes:
